As we know Ubuntu display a login screen every time we start our system. We then insert our username and password in order to access our system but if you are the only person using the computer and you not worried about the security then you can enable autologin in Ubuntu.
Just follow this simple instructions.
Go to System->Administration->Login Window
It will prompt you for your password. Enter your password and click OK.
In the Login Window click the Security tab and then check the Enable Automatic Login Checkbox then secelt your username from the dropdown menu and then complete the task by clicking the Close button.
